of the FNRP (National Popular Resistance Front). He is speaking

There has been a lot of activity in Honduras recently, both

large scale resistance like strikes and demonstrations by

teachers and other civic workers, along with heavy repression

by the government - many arrests and violent attacks. So Gerardo's

visit comes at an important time.
