It has been developed for Latino high school students. The objective of visiting high schools is to provide students with information that could be helpful to motivate them to attend college. In college, students have the opportunity to explore different academic and professional interests.
Jordan High School Sept. 29, 2009 Jordan Public School opens the door for the first time to CLU members bringing hope to Latino/as students. They were fascinating in how to start college and how to get ready. CLU members are not only give information how to begin college, but they lift their expectation that they can continue with their education. CLU ask what is stopping them to continue with their education? and most of the student have the same situation. Some of them do not have enough funds and think that they can’t afford college. A few of them have lack of motivation, but their mind change after see and hear the true stories from CLU members.
